Performance Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) to suit a variety of performance applications. The new CSC has been designed as a universal fitment to be utilised for a wide range of vehicles.
The CSC was designed in-house at Xtreme Clutch and incorporates a billet 6160 alloy housing, high quality EPDM rubber seals and a threaded adjustment sleeve (where required) for universal applications. The CSC has been developed to work with a range of different bearings and is ideal for motorsport applications or where a custom clutch solution is required. The new CSCs are also compatible with all high-quality brake fluids.
The CSC is available in 12 different configurations depending on bearing and braided line requirements and will start being incorporated into associated kits as required in early 2022.

Toyota GR Yaris and Corolla Upgrades
Xtreme Clutch has recently launched a range of new upgrade kits to suit the Toyota GR Yaris and the upcoming GR Corolla. The range includes an upgrade to suit the existing dual-mass flywheel, a single-mass flywheel conversion kit and a lightweight 184mm twin plate for motorsport use. These kits are available in a range of configurations to suit different vehicle performance goals and driveability requirements.
Dual-Mass Upgrade Kit:
The dual-mass upgrade kit offers a lightweight alloy pressure plate that has been designed to suit the factory dual-mass flywheel. This kit retains a rigid organic friction disc and can also be optioned with a replacement dual-mass flywheel and concentric slave cylinder.
This kit offers almost factory levels of driveability and is therefore ideal for daily driven performance street vehicles.

- Includes alignment tool, pressure plate bolts and replacement CSC (optional but recommended)

Single-Mass Flywheel Conversion:
The single-mass flywheel conversion incorporates a lightweight alloy pressure plate designed to fit the specially designed single-mass performance flywheel. This kit is available with either a sprung organic friction disc or a sprung ceramic friction disc (for higher heat capacity applications).
Although this kit has been designed to work with a sprung disc due to the lack of dampening from a dual-mass flywheel, it will still transmit noise, vibration and harshness into the cabin and is therefore recommended for motorsport use only.

184mm Twin Plate:
The 184mm twin plate clutch has been designed for very high horsepower motorsport applications where torque capacity and reduced inertia are critical. The kit includes a lightweight 184mm pressure plate, 4140 chromoly casting, intermediate plate and performance flywheel designed for minimal inertia. The two sprung ceramic friction discs offer exceptional heat capacity and the kit is ideal for applications that have aftermarket sequential transmissions etc. installed. This kit is not suitable for street use.

Hyundai i30N Performance Upgrades
With the Hyundai i30N 2.0L proving to be one of the most popular performance hatchbacks on sale today, Xtreme Clutch is offering several performance upgrade kits to suit tuned street vehicles and dedicated motorsport applications.
Developed in-house at Xtreme Clutch in what was a world first of its type, the range of Hyundai i30N upgrades are designed to suit specific vehicle applications including a range of 240mm single plate kits for street and lightly tuned motorsport applications and 185mm twin plate kits for high horsepower motorsport applications.
The i30N performance kits have been engineered to allow the reduced inertia to work in harmony with auto rev matching. The 240mm single plate organic kits have a reduction of 25% in mass and a 40% increase in torque holding abilities for extreme performance enhancement on the street.
The 240mm upgrades were selected as a Global Media Award winner at the 2018 SEMA Show under the Xtreme Clutch sister brand, XClutch.

Xtreme Clutch Sprung Twin Plate Subaru STI Kits
Xtreme Clutch, has recently released a new range of sprung twin disc upgrades for Subaru 6 speed WRX STI models. The new kits are available with organic friction material for street performance and ceramic friction material for motorsport applications.
“Our new 230mm” sprung organic and ceramic upgrades for the Subaru WRX have been designed to provide a performance clutch solution for a wide range of vehicle uses and performance goals,” says Stewart Furze, Xtreme Clutch Mechanical Engineer. “These new kits still retain a pull type pressure plate which offers fantastic clamping force, making these ideal for high powered applications up to 1000 Nm of torque. The introduction of a sprung central hub has been designed to provide improved dampening which helps to reduce the shock loading on the transmission.”
The kits also include a lightweight 4140 chromoly flywheel, thrust bearing, pressure plate bolts, flywheel bolts, spigot bearing and steel aligning tool. “We always look to provide all of the critical replacement items in our performance upgrade kits,” says Stewart. “This helps to improve the efficiency of the installation process for workshops around the country as well as ensuring the performance upgrade is installed with all the necessary support hardware.”

PRODUCT LAUNCH: BMW E39 M5 Performance Upgrade Kits
Xtreme Clutch are now offering performance upgrades for the BMW E39 M5. These upgrades are based on the Xtreme Clutch 230mm multi-disc clutch assembly and are available with either organic or ceramic friction discs for street and motorsport use respectively.
Each kit offers a lightweight construction with an aluminium pressure plate and 4140 chromoly flywheel whilst still offering a significant increase in torque capacity. The organic version of the kit offers an 1210 Nm peak torque capacity whilst the ceramic version offers a 1830 Nm peak torque capacity, making these kits ideal for high powered vehicles that still require excellent driveability.

Xtreme Clutch at Autosport International 2020, Birmingham UK
Autosport International in 2020 is celebrating the 30th anniversary this running event for motorsport success! With over 60% of trade visitors attending to keep up with what is happening in motorsport, there is a lot more exciting entities to cover across the exclusive “trade-only” Thursday and Friday.
This year we were attending at Autosport Engineering Show which offers the opportunity to discover the latest industry innovations as well as the opportunity to collaborate with new businesses.
Xtreme Clutch during two trade-only days in NEC Birmingham UK presented already launched several new kits for the European. These new kits include a 230mm sprung organic twin plate upgrade for the Ford Focus RS MK3 and a range of 230mm twin plate upgrades to suit the BMW E90 M3. These kits have been designed to ensure significant increases in torque capacity for street and dedicated Motorsport applications.
The new kits come complete with all hardware required for a successful installation including a replacement concentric slave cylinder (thrust bearing for BMW kits), pilot bearing, flywheel bolts, pressure plate bolts and a metal alignment tool. The BMW kits are available with both organic and ceramic friction materials for high performance street and motorsport applications respectively.
The Ford Focus RS MK3 230mm kit is a new revision for Xtreme Clutch, now offering a sprung centre version of the already highly popular kit. “Our new 230mm sprung twin plate kit for the Ford Focus RS MK3 has been designed to offer improved dampening for the transmission, making it more suitable for very high horsepower daily driven vehicles,” explains Stewart Furze, Xtreme Clutch Mechanical Engineer, “Our twin plate organic kits have proven to be very popular throughout Europe and we are pleased to showcase this new version of the kit at the Autosport International 2020.”
Xtreme Clutch at 14th Professional MotorSport World Expo
Xtreme Clutch was exhibiting the products for motorsport enthusiasts at 14th Professional MotorSport World Expo which was running during three full days (13-15 of November) in Cologne where were presented over 230 exhibitors.
PMW Expo 2019 again offered a diverse mix of free-to-attend workshops giving useful tips and advice on subjects such as race car chassis dynamics, optimizing aerodynamics, simulation, electrification in motorsport, test and development, powertrain performance, understanding race car data, plus a look at performance-related enhancements for fast road and track days and many other sessions dedicated enhancing and optimizing race car performance.
